When we start a small enterprise, we are sure that it will work but also, we also have periods of discouragement by moment. When these days come by, I always think of people who inspire me by their courage and determination.
One of these persons is the athlete Maggie Vessey, a 28-years old American, who is originally from the region where I live. On the last July 10th, she won first place in the 800-meters race in Rome, which made her the fastest woman on the planet in the 800-meters challenge.
Maggie made lots of sacrifices to be at the point where she is. She missed the Beijing Olympics by a thin line and thought her running career was over 18 months ago. It would have been easy to give up then but she wisely surrounded herself with a strong supportive team. By coincidence, one of her running coaches is the trainer of the track club I belong to.
To have such a motivation and courage example close to me inspired me to apply the same process toward my company, Notes and Photos. Yes, I have the talent and the passion for this company but to be surrounded by a team of people who believe in me and in the products is as much important.
