This morning, my daughter Savannah is gone for a camping trip with her school. While these trips have been happening since she is 6, it is the first time that we are not allowing parents on these trips. I know it won’t be a huge trauma for Savannah, because since she is 4, she sleeps at her friends’ houses.

But this made me realized that she is not a little girl anymore. She is almost about to be a pre-teen. I hope she will have fun whispering during long hours under her sleeping bag, have fun activities with her numerous friends and especially, that she won’t miss us too much.

We will be happy to see her again on Friday night!

Every year, at the beginning of October, these festivals come back in different cities in North America. It is a celebration for the Halloween day!

Sales of glass pumpkins are always doing well. Glass artists need to make an earning, like so many artists. I always loved these nice handmade pumpkins and it is a honor today to talk about their Fall work-of-art.

At Notes and Photos, we love discovering new talents and being informed of the latest trends. Recently, one of our colleagues introduced us to a website, hosted by lifestyle and entertainment expert Kim Vallée (http://athome.kimvallee.com/).

We were quite impressed by the information found on her website and how this young woman has made a name for herself. She covers different trendy subjects for the everyday busy woman, such as dining, entertainment, home and garden, kids and baby, …

We spent hours navigating through her different website sections. Like so many of her fans, we discovered a wealth of talent and information that were unknown to us until now.

We will make sure to follow Kim Vallée and see what she has in store for all of us.

Recently, I was introduced to Kim Vallée’s website (http://athome.kimvallee.com/). Ah, so many hours spent navigating from page to page to read all the information written in her website!

Vallée, a French-canadian living in Montreal, is the owner of the English website “At Home with Kim Vallée”. Throughout the years, she became the reference in Canada with anything regarding decoration, entertainment and prepare unforgettable partys…

I really enjoy the information found on her site, not only I’ve learned a lot but I can see the competition out there that is related to our business purpose. We can’t take our customers for granted in life. Kim Vallee understood that and only show the stellar products on her website.

I will now follow with pleasure the trendy style of Kim Vallée.

At Notes and Photos, we like nice stationery and photo cards. When we look back in the past, when there weren’t many stationery items, we remembered that the most colorful items found in the store were often decorated with superheroes items.

Today is the Superheroes National Day and we want to bring you back to memory lane by celebrating this special day.

There are so many places to find inspiration and one of these places is the local library. Why the library? Well, they not only have books but all kind of magazines.

I find inspiration with new colors matchings, new ideas that I’d like to share with you and new currents to follow. It is a little bit the definition of being an art director: to sense anything that can spark interests from Notes and Photos customers.
