The other day, I was reading the newspaper and I love to hear about new things that are both artistic and original. A small article caught my eyes: a San Francisco area cookie company (http://www.parkerscrazycookies.com/) that makes cookies… that look like you.
Not only by taste but also esthetically. When I saw their website, it made me think about being a perfect gift when you expect a new baby. Isn’t it a unique gift to give along with a Notes and Photos photo birth announcement.

A week ago, I went to see an annual parade that is happening in my town. The unique touch of this parade is that all entrants have to be able to float.
Oh yes, it is a nautical parade and it is happening on a creek that is ending in the ocean. This parade has usually 6 rafts but this year, more than 9 teams decided to give it a try. There are a few unusual rules to follow such as the float has to be made following an annual theme, all the raft’s elements have to be covered with begonias and finally, the raft has to be able to go underneath a low bridge (so, it is constraint in height).
Because an image is worth a thousand words, I let you look at the parade in this photo-collage below:

Everything is all about a sense of scale – capturing your tiny baby with the proud presence of his big brother or big sister. It is the kind of photography that will become an immortal souvenir that will follow them all their life.
To take a beautiful photo of this kind, here are some tips:
- Fill up the frame with the kids.
- Make a tight cropping
- Balance the cropping; for example, if you have cropped on top of the photo, also crop at the bottom of the photo.
Position eyes in the upper third of the frame to make them the center of interest.

Today is the birthday of an important person in the company. It is the birthday of our dear president!
This is a time to work harder during this day to allow him to go back home earlier than usual.
Happy birthday mister the president!

Ah, the joy of childhood would have never been the same if we would have never put our hands in some Play-Doh. All the animals, small cars, and little characters more or less shapeful that we had fun to model.
So, Notes and Photos want to remind you this simple life pleasure because, on this September 18th, it is National Play-Doh day!
Roll up your sleeve and go back in childhood by creating a nice Play-Doh work-of-art with your favorite play companions: your children!

I have to admit it: eat a cheeseburger when I was a child was one of my greatest pleasures. Many memories and imageries come to my mind when I think about it. The same taste and feeling stay in family because my son Andre is also crazy about them!
Well, on this National Cheeseburger Day, we can’t forget our ultimate sin. This week, I also mentioned the Indian summer type of weather and nothing beat to start up your BBQ one last time before winter.
Go back in childhood and enjoy a nice cheeseburger on this Friday!

It seems that when I was young and we were opening our lunchbox, everything was grey and depressing.
These days, it is a pleasure for moms to create real artworks with food sent to their kids. For example, creating a one-of-a-kind sandwich. I discovered this charming photo collage of lunches for kids off the Internet the other day.
It gives me appetite and especially inspiration to do my kids’ lunches tomorrow morning.
