Aline is the author of the Sauce Secrete blog (http://saucesecrete.blogspot.com/). It is with joy and numerous photos that she entertain her readers to her daily life as a mom.

It is easy to recreate this gorgeous table you know! Let your kids help you and let the fun begins! With star-shapped hole punches and sheets of gold paper, cut the sheets the same size as a place-mat (about 12” x 18”) and let your little ones have fun by punching stars on the place-mats. Spread the stars throughout the tablecloth. It will create a magical feeling!

A photo with bare feet is a sweet reminder of free summer days, of freshly cut grass, of the first cold splash of water at the shore. Barefoot  photos evoke classic childhood scenes. To make a memorable bare feet photo, consider the following:

-       Cleanliness counts; start with scrubbed feet.

-       As much as possible, use primary colors for the subjects’ outfits.

-       Take pictures against a background that brings out the feet.

-       Blue jeans always look great next to bare skin.

Last week was the famous week to get our children’s results at school. This is always nerve-racking for us as we put lots of pressure on our children to succeed in school. While in the past years, it was our daughter who was challenged to be successful, not the table turned and it is our son.

I guess the joy to be a boy and be the clown in the classroom. We hope as he matures, he will gain self-confidence and be able to be serious at school and do all his work in a time manner. Perhaps you have the same problem at your house…
