New Year’s Sparkle

champagne

During this end of the year, I wanted to write one last blog for the 2009 year. I am going on vacation for a week and a half and I taking the opportunity to talk about champagne. It is the perfect holiday drink.

To put this drink forward, I am suggesting you this brilliant idea. Why not put your ice cubes the star of the evening? To do this, purchase plastic confettis and stars and put sprinkle them in the ice cube tray. This is a great way to have unique looking ice cubes that will decorate beautifully your favorite drink!

Happy holidays to all!

Mamamiiia!

mamamiiia

First of all, we have to say that we love this super cool blog name! It would be a pure lie to say that the name doesn’t remind us of Abba! But the content is nothing about the musical group! This blog (http://www.mamamiiia.com/), it is the daily life of Christine Simard, a devoted mother and administrator by profession. She is passionate about internet and we could also admit that she loves any subject related to women, being a mother and news about these subjects.

We love at what point she inform her readers and encourage conversations via her blog toward different subjects she covers on a daily basis. A lady to read on her blog and to follow on Twitter (ID: mamamiiia).

Cooking pleasure

One of my pleasures when I cook, whether it is a quick meal or something more elaborated is to include my children in the process. They are at an age (10 and 8 years old) where I can easily give them a little more responsibility. While we cook, we easily chat on a specific subject of conversation that, otherwise, wouldn’t have happened.

During the holiday break, I am inviting you to do the same with your children. It will not only be the pleasure to spend some priviledge time with your child but also to taste a meal that will have been made with lots of love.

Shoot into a Sunset

sunset

If you think you couldn’t, well, you can! Capture the setting sun and the executive beauty of the day’s last light by following these advices:

-       Look for high or wide-open areas so you can shoot until the sun sinks below the horizon.

-       Use a flash so you don’t create a silhouette.

-       Let the sky take up about two-thirds of your frame so the camera will expose for it.

Do not look directly into the sun.

Take a Break!

break

Ah, the weekend is at the door and I have only one idea in mind after a super busy week: take a break! But a real one! Not only a cup of tea on the corner of my desk. No, I mean take out some fancy cheeses, crackers, grapes, and call up a good friend to share these sweet moments. Ah, take it easy for a moment! We deserve it, don’t you think?

Fabric craft

craft

It is not a secret for anyone by now that I love any fabric craft because it is a medium that I adore, even if it has its load of challenges by moment. I love the whimsical side of these decorative fabric objects. The design is simple and we could think that we are in a storybook when I see these objects. We often say that to make handmade objects take more time than buying it but, on the other hand, nothing is more unique that a handmade object. Isn’t it?

Flourishing Tea

I am not a coffee drinker but as it concerns tea, I love it! I often find that tea is often associated with a neat presentation. Tea is also often associated with being a fluid that bring us, in some ways, closer to nature. During this holiday season, time where there are a lot going on, I invite you to sip a good tea and relax!
